I am feeling really good about the next chapter in my life. Ever since I no longer work for a company or corporation, I am finding it so empowering to live a life where I know my experience is in my hands. Even when certain things happen that I initially may find not so favorable, I know that how I react is my choice.
Birds do not dictate how the wind blows, they merely go with the flow. Imagine if the bird does not do so... splat. This is how I have learned to approach life.
I used to resist change, but I have discovered that change is a friend. Everything is, depending on how we choose to respond. I'd rather be in the driver's seat than in the passenger's when it comes to my life. How about you?
I think this is what happens a lot of the time: We become too dependent on the world and on the point of view of the world others hold as truth.
What is truth?
I see truth as a belief that is given so much power, it becomes real over time. Even science holds certain beliefs as truth, until proven otherwise. This is why it helps to examine whether what we believe in was simply passed down to us, or if it truly resonates.
If something is working very well for you, and you're happy and aren't impinging on anyone's rights or free will, wouldn't you say that's all that matters for you to continue doing it?
We live in a world of possibilities rather than a world of impossibilities. This is a world of inclusion, if you choose to view it that way. I'd rather deliberately and consciously attract good into my life and I'm glad to say it is working.
Sometimes, events don't unfold the way the ego holds ideal. I enjoy the great "mystery" behind how things just fall into place if we let them. If we knew everything, where would the fun be in this Earth adventure?
Wishing you well,
Matthew
