Predator and Prey

Recently someone I am close to has been "preyed" upon by an older "predator."

My message to the prey is, never give away your power by allowing yourself to be allured by a predator. They come in many shapes and forms. This is what they do. They know how to confuse you. When you begin to catch on to their games, their aim is to confuse you more. It may be through an offer of some kind... Something that will appeal to you, like a job or even friendship. Don't be fooled by this or their pretense of innocence, as this is part of the trap. After all if there is nothing wrong with what they are doing, why defend it or continue to pursue after being asked to stop?

Responses like "I was just joking or playing," after you confront them are strong indications that they are playing this game.

If you sense anger after their advances have been rejected, this is another sign.

Trust your gut feeling. If you are uncomfortable, it is for a reason. This is your wise intuition speaking to you. So if you don't want to be sneered be sure to speak your truth. Stand up and be very clear about your feelings and set your boundaries. This does not make you a "bad" person. Predators are counting on your feeling so, and this is another form of manipulation through guilt.

NOW if you are the predator, I'd like to talk about your actions and their consequences. No matter how insignificant they may seem TO YOU, be considerate of others' feelings. Misusing your power in the form of control or manipulation is a waste of your potential. You have it in you to be a protector.

I always say the same energy that can destroy with great force has the same potential to create and protect. Choose the higher road. If you feel that you need help, I suggest you begin seeing a professional for assistance. I highly recommend someone who integrates the metaphysical/spiritual realm in his practice, so you can begin not only to heal your life but to heal your spirit.

I lovingly pray for your healing progress. After all, we are all brothers and sisters on this earth. Do not be ashamed of yourself. You are a spiritual being just like all of us are. You are VERY loved. Indeed, you have the power. It is up to you how you choose to use it. Somewhere within, there is a victim inside you.

If you turn your negative experiences around by reframing them as positive ones that taught you a lesson, you can TRULY come into your power now.

There's a first time for everything. For now I'd like to say I'll be covering a wide range of topics here. These will mostly center around metaphysics, spirituality, reincarnation (the eternal soul), astrology, healing, poetry, music, and creation in general.
